Founded in 1992 as a pioneering IT enterprise in Ticino, Foletti Computer Superstore opened its doors during the foundational era of personal computing. Our early mission was deeply hands-on: we set out to demystify technology for local businesses and families, providing custom hardware assembly, reliable components, and expert technical guidance. The Foundation & Early Growth (1990–1999)

1990: Company established with its first headquarters in Lugano at Via Sorengo 29.
1991: Expanded logistics into international wholesale importing and launched our first regional advertisement campaigns.
1992: Officially registered in the Commercial Register as Foletti Computer.
1993: Relocated operations to Breganzona and pioneered early digital transition from Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) to the internet with Mosaic.
1994: Moved to Noranco and onboarded our very first full-time employees and trade apprentices.
1995: Formed a strategic partnership with Sony, bringing the first advanced desktop monitors to the Ticino market.
1996: Relocated to Manno and became the official Swiss distributor for professional American CAD/DTP computer systems, while opening our secondary branch in Locarno.

Entering the E-Commerce Era (2000–2009)

2002: Developed and published our very first fully custom online shop architecture.
2003: Appointed as an official Acer Partner.
2006: Achieved a major milestone by becoming the first certified Acer Repair Center in Switzerland.

2013: Relocated to a larger headquarters in Pazzallo to support our catalog expanding past 140,000 items.
